By accessing or using the Uwendo website at uwendo.com and uwendo.ug (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Uwendo is a platform for discovering, reviewing, and voting on apps and products that improve life in Uganda. The Service is currently in pre-launch phase. By signing up for our waitlist, you will receive notifications about our launch and updates.

3. Waitlist Registration

By submitting your email address through our waitlist form, you:

  • Confirm that you are providing a valid email address that belongs to you.
  • Consent to receive email communications from Uwendo regarding the launch and updates of the platform.
  • Acknowledge that you can unsubscribe at any time by contacting us at hello@uwendo.com.

4. User Obligations

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and truthful information.
  • Not use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
  • Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service.
  • Not interfere with the proper functioning of the Service.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, logos, and other intellectual property displayed on the Service are the property of Uwendo or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reproduce any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Uwendo and its team members shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

7. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Uganda. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Uganda.
